The Forbidden City Centennial Exhibition Shines at UN

On May 19th, the UN Headquarters in New York ushered in the grand opening ceremony of the “Endless Vitality: UN Stamp Launch and Palace Museum Exhibition”, which attracted the participation of more than 120 ambassadors to the UN and representatives of international organizations from around the world. The exhibition not only showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Forbidden City ( Palace Museum ), but also marks the important milestone of its 100th anniversary.

Guests witnessed the release of the “100th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Forbidden City ( Palace Museum )” special event stamp, which was officially issued by the UN Postal Administration on May 18th, International Museum Day, to symbolize the treasuring and inheritance of traditional culture.
